Interior Architects (IA) was hired by a New York utility company to consolidate and relocate its team to the bustling Atlantic Terminal area of Brooklyn. With the consolidation, the workplace shifted to open and unassigned work areas, as well as lounges, lobbies, cafes, and a dramatically lit central feature staircase framed by a double-height living green wall. A primary conference room includes advanced video conferencing capabilities and required high-quality, enhanced lighting. The client's focus on modern sustainability is reflected in the industrial style aesthetic, balanced with rigorous standards, resulting in this building's LEED v4 ID+C certification.
