Centerbrook Architects and Tsoi Kobus Design were hired to design the Connecticut location of the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine (JAX-GM), an extension of the organization's Maine-based headquarters. Continuing education, collaboration, and research are core to the facility's mission. The lighting design we provided was primarily for front-of-house, amenity, and engagement areas such as conference rooms, lounges, offices, and multi-purpose rooms. Additionally, a corporate auditorium with theatrical lighting was designed for presentations and TED-talk style lectures capable of broadcast.
